Eddie Powell had a long career as a stuntman for a number of popular films including eleven Bond films (that includes the non-Eon Production Never Say Never Again). His career started in 1958 when he was 30 or 31 in The Vikings, starring Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis and Ernest Borgnine. Besides completing stunts for the Bond franchise, Powell also worked on a few other well-known franchises: Alien and Aliens, Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Batman, and two Robin Hood films in 1991 (Robin Hood and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves). Daylight (1996) starring Slyvester Stallone and Viggo Mortensen was the last bit of stunt work that Powell did. In all, he had 57 credits over the span of almost 40 years.

Powell worked on some of the Hammer films during the 1960s, often filling in as stunt double for Christopher Lee:

I think of the exertion and stamina required for stunt work that to me, it seems like Powell got a later start doing stunt work. He would have been in his early 50s for Alien and well into his 60s by the time of his last stunt credit. Powell did some acting as well, again staring around 1957, according to IMDB.
